We start with the pickup from 6:00 AM to travel approximately 120 km from the city of Arequipa for about 3 hours until we reach the stunning Salinas Lagoon, a salty Andean lake surrounded by snow-capped mountains and volcanoes. Our first stop will be at the Chiguata viewpoint and its terraces, followed by a visit to the majestic colonial church of Espíritu Santo. We'll enjoy a delicious breakfast in this charming village.

Continuing our journey, we'll make several stops at viewpoints such as El Alto Simbral, where we'll capture photographs of the local flora, including yareta, Tola, and the Queñuales forest. Upon reaching the lagoon, we'll marvel at infinite reflections in its water mirrors, while in the salt flat, we'll observe South American camelids such as vicuñas, alpacas, llamas, and likely guanacos, an endangered species. Of course, we won't miss the colorful presence of flamingos in various species.

Then, we'll explore Salar Moche and visit the mini volcano Lojen, where you'll find hot springs; optionally, we'll enjoy its warm waters. On the way back to Chiguata, we'll have a local lunch and return to Arequipa, arriving around 4:30 PM.
