Itinerary
From 6:00 to 6:20 AM, we will pick you up from your hotel in Arequipa to take you to Pillones Waterfall, where our downhill hike will begin, with a stop in the Pampa de Arrieros Village, the former entrance to the white city for train travelers. Ready with warm clothing for the altitude (13,123 feet a.s.l.), we will descend a rocky slope to reach the captivating Pillones waterfall, where we will enjoy approximately 45 minutes of photography from different angles.
Subsequently, we will head to the Puruña Stone Forest, and after exploring this amazing place, we will go to Imata to enjoy lunch with trout and/or alpaca cracklings. The return to Arequipa will be around 4:00 PM.
