Itinerary
At 7:40 AM, we commence our tour with hotel pick-up, heading to the main port of Puno. By 8:00 AM, we'll travel by boat to the floating islands of Uros, immersing ourselves in the beauty of the Sacred Lake of the Incas. Here, the inhabitants will showcase their rich culture and traditions. By noon, we'll reach Amantani Island, where the locals will warmly welcome us.
After settling into the assigned family homes, each visitor will have an hour to explore the island before focusing on the ceremonial temples of Pacha Tata and Pacha Mama to enjoy a beautiful sunset and traditional dances. Dinner will be served in the designated family homes by 6:30 PM, followed by a dance meeting with traditional costumes at 8:00 PM.
We kick off this day at 7:00 AM with breakfast in the family homes on Amantani Island. At 8:30 AM, we set sail to Taquile Island on a boat journey, appreciating the majesty of the Sacred Lake of the Incas. Here, the locals preserve their culture through traditional costumes, rural houses, and pre-Hispanic arches. By 1:30 PM, we embark on the return journey to Puno, arriving at 3:30 PM, concluding so this fascinating expedition.
