Itinerary
We will start early with pick-up between 4:20 AM and 5:00 AM, heading south until we reach the town of Cusipata in about 1.5 hours. There, we will enjoy a delicious breakfast before continuing for another hour to reach Fullawasi Pata, the starting point of our hike at 4,600 meter (15,091 feet) above sea level.
During the hike, we will witness stunning snow-capped peaks, lakes, and mountains in reddish hues, and encounter herds of llamas and alpacas. Finally, we will reach Vinicunca Mountain (Rainbow Mountain) at 5,036 meters (16,522 feet) above sea level, where we will marvel at the beauty of its colors and take souvenir photos. We will spend 40 to 50 minutes at this location before descending the same way back to the starting point of the hike.
Afterward, we will board our transportation to return to Cusipata, where we will enjoy our lunch around 1:00 PM or 2:00 PM. Finally, we will embark on the journey back to the city of Cusco, concluding this tour around 5:00 PM at Regocijo Square or San Bernardo Street, one block from the Plaza de Armas.
