Description
We will start our thrilling journey to Palcoyo Mountain with hotel pick-up from 4:20 AM to 5:00 AM, heading south for approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes. Once we reach the picturesque village of Pitumarca, we'll enjoy a delicious breakfast to give us the necessary energy for the continuation of our journey.
Next, we'll embark on a 30 to 50-minute hike to the base of the mountain, during which we'll relish stunning views of the Andes and the diverse South American camelids inhabiting the area. Upon reaching the viewpoint, a 40-minute walk, we'll be greeted by the breathtaking sight of three colorful mountains and the fascinating stone forest.
We'll have ample time to appreciate and explore this beautiful place. Later, we'll return to our transportation and head back to Pitumarca, where we'll enjoy our lunch. Finally, we'll commence the journey back to the city of Cusco, carrying indelible memories of this magical day at Palcoyo Mountain.
