We will start with pick-up between 4:20 – 5:00 AM, heading northwest of Cusco for a 2 hours and 30 minutes journey to the town of Mollepata where we'll go through the checkpoint and have our breakfast. Then, we'll continue for another 50 minutes until we reach Soraypampa where we'll gear up to begin the 1 hour and 50 minutes uphill hike.

Upon reaching the Lagoon, we'll have a maximum of 40 – 60 minutes to appreciate the landscape, the snow-capped peaks, Humantay Lagoon, and take photos, due to the altitude.
Then we return to Soraypampa, where you will stay in the dome while the rest of the group continues back to Cusco. Once at the dome, you can leave your belongings, and lunch will be provided, followed by dinner in the evening.

On this day, breakfast is included, and you can choose to go for a walk around the area or along the Salkantay route. You can also opt for a horseback ride (not included) and have to be at the starting point of the first day's hike to join the group for the return to Mollepata, where breakfast was served on the first day, for lunch. Finally, we'll return to the city of Cusco, arriving around 6:00 PM.

After booking, we will also make the reservation for the dome accommodation, which will be secured. In case of requesting a refund or tour cancellation, this is possible up to 3 days before the start of the tour, but the refund will be minus the cost of the dome accommodation.
