Itinerary
We start with the pick-up between 8:30 AM and 9:00 AM, and depart from Huaraz to Chavín. Our first stop will be at Qerococha Lagoon, located at 13,058 feet above sea level, where you'll enjoy a view of the geological fault that marks the map of Peru. Then, we'll pass through the Cahuish Tunnel, rising up to 14,600 feet above sea level.
Continuing our journey, we'll reach the Archaeological Complex of Chavin de Huantar, where we'll explore ceremonial plazas, the Falcónidas Gateway, underground galleries, the Monolithic Lanzon, the Clava Heads, and other fascinating sites. After marveling at these archaeological gems, we'll have lunch at a tourist restaurant in the town of Chavin before returning to the city of Huaraz, concluding our tour.
