Description
Our tour starts with hotel pick-up between 4:20 AM and 5:00 AM. Subsequently, we embark on a journey of approximately 3 hours to reach the location known as Pacchanta, situated at 14,435 feet a.s.l. Upon arrival, a delightful local breakfast awaits before we commence our moderately ascending hike, lasting around 2 hours and 30 minutes, taking us to the Ausangate viewpoint at 15,748 feet a.s.l.
From this vantage point, we can marvel at the beauty of the landscape offered by Apu Ausangate and its lakes of various colors. After enjoying the natural spectacle, we'll begin the descent back to Pacchanta, where a tasty lunch awaits. To conclude our hike, we'll immerse ourselves in the relaxing hot springs, perfect for soothing muscles after the hike.
Finally, we bid farewell to this incredible place and board our transport back to the city of Cusco, arriving around 6:30 PM.
